Accounting & Controlling

Due to the transition of existing accounting standards to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the new German Accounting Law (BilMoG) the external reporting requirements are becoming increasingly more complex and more multilayered. This is associated with an approach to the internal control quantities of the control variables. Therefore the accounting and controlling sectors are coming together in the business world.

As a apart of this realignment of the external reporting in the balance sheet unit a departure from the relevant tax law provisions, which are relevant to the tax department, is to be noted. Nevertheless, in-depth knowledge in areas relevant to the core business areas of tax law for the employees in accounting and finance are essential because they influence the design of specific business decisions. In order to redefine the tasks and interfaces in the areas of finance and accounting one must recognize the interrelationship between the different areas as an essential prerequisite. Only by doing this is a goal-oriented leadership and successful management of the company possible.
